FAQ

Do you require my whole bouquet?

Yes, the full bouquet is required. I carefully dissect the arrangements and press the blooms that are in the best condition. In the event that some of the flowers are bruising or wilting, it’s nice to have the extra blooms to choose from to eliminate these imperfections in the final piece.

How long does the process tabke?

Pressed flower preservation is a lengthy, hands-on process. We often press every flower by each petal and rearrange them all! Your flowers need time to dry and press before they can be carefully arranged and framed. The typical turn around is 8-12 weeks.

What types of flowers can be preserved?

Many flowers can be pressed and preserved, but some varieties hold their color, shape, and detail better than others. The final result depends on the types of flowers in your bouquet and their condition.

When should I bring my flowers to Bell's?

For the best results, we recommend bringing your bouquet to us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of your event. Keep your flowers in water in a cool location and out of direct sunlight until drop-off. Once the retainer is paid and contract is signed, we will coordinate timing!

Will my preserved flowers look exactly like my original bouquet?

Not exactly, and that's part of what makes each piece unique! Flowers naturally change as they dry and press. Colors may soften or deepen, and petals may look slightly different from when they were fresh. We carefully arrange your flowers to create a beautiful representation of your original bouquet.
