Their clean, graceful lines and subtle elegance make them a popular choice and they also come in a variety of kinds including parrot, double, peony, and more! They also have a relatively long vase life, meaning they remain fresh and vibrant throughout the wedding day and beyond.

Ranunculus

There are few weddings we design that ranunculus flowers are not featured in. Their delicate, layered petals bring a touch of romance and and lush look to design . Known for their soft, rose-like appearance, ranunculus boasts a variety of vibrant colors, ranging from white, variety of pinks, peaches, yellows, purples, reds, and more. Their unique, intricate blooms add texture and depth to bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral arrangements, giving them a refined look. Symbolizing charm, attractiveness, and radiant beauty, ranunculus carries an emotional significance that resonates with many couples.

Anemones

Anemones have become a favorite choice for weddings due to their striking beauty and unique appearance. With their bold, contrasting petals and dark, dramatic centers, they add a touch of sophistication and individuality to floral arrangements. Though available in a variety of colors, the classic white is the most used at Bell's Flowers. Many couples that are curating a white and blue color scheme choose these as the middle is actually a deep blue. Making them the perfect addition to that diverse blue color scheme.

Poppies

A classic and popular for our early spring time weddings that love whimsical and dainty flowers. Though delicate poppies make beautiful statement florals in any design and come in a range of colors, though our personal favorite is the peach. Many of shocked at how they arrive to our studio, each stem is wrapped in "pods" that you gently have to take off and we pray we don't rip any petals during the process! Though a tedious process, it's worth it to see these beauties continue to open throughout the design process.

Bell's of Ireland

We love Bell's of Ireland and work with it often (and not just because of the name!). These tall and skinny florals are perfect for our couples looking for a natural white and green look for their big day. They offer the shade of green that can be difficult to acquire without using greenery. Their unique vertical shape and bright green color make them great for adding texture, structure, and contrast to bouquets, centerpieces, and large statement pieces. These stems are also in the mint family and smell heavenly!

Lilac

Lilacs are a popular choice for weddings and are known for their soft, romantic blooms in shades of purple, lavender, and white. These branchy stems add a touch of elegance and nostalgia to any wedding setting. Their sweet, floral scent is often associated with love and happiness, making them the perfect addition to a celebration of commitment and joy. Lilacs’ versatility allows them to fit into a variety of wedding themes, from vintage and rustic to modern and sophisticated.

Snapdragons

Snapdragons are a popular wedding flower due to their unique, vertical shape and vibrant color range, making them a striking addition to any floral arrangement. Their tall, "spiky" stems and clusters of blooms in hues such as soft pastels, bold reds, and delicate whites add texture and height to bouquets and centerpieces, creating a sense of elegance and visual interest. Though we can often get snapdragons year round we love them in the spring time as our local farmers have an abundance and they are just lovely!

Campanula

Campanulas, with their bell-shaped blooms and soft, graceful appearance, are a popular wedding flower for couples seeking a touch of pastels. Often in shades of soft pink, purple, or white, these delicate flowers add a serene and romantic atmosphere to floral arrangements. Their gentle, flowing petals and subtle fragrance make them an ideal choice for creating soft, airy bouquets and centerpieces that evoke a sense of tranquility and natural beauty.

Bridal Veil Spirea

Bridal veil spirea is a wonderful white filler for brides who want something romantic and garden style. Often containing some green leaves throughout their branchy stems, these beauties look like they were just picked the morning of the wedding. Because of its long, flexible stems, bridal veil spirea can add beautiful movement and texture to an arrangement. We often let portions of the stems trail slightly beyond the bouquet, creating a soft, cascading effect that feels both elegant and relaxed. This natural drape makes it especially lovely in bridal bouquets, where it can frame focal flowers while adding dimension and a touch of drama without feeling too structured.

We love each and every spring time bloom but these are special to us and our couples. The best part about each of these, they are available and grown by our local farmers! Have an upcoming spring wedding, reach out to us, we would love to flower your big day!

From the garden with love,

Isabel
